What devices does Writify support?
Writify is available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It requires iOS/iPadOS 26.0 or later, and macOS Sequoia 15.0 or later for Mac.
How does file sync work?
Writify saves every document as a standard Markdown file on your iCloud Drive. Your files sync automatically across all your Apple devices. You can even edit them outside Writify — changes are picked up instantly.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Your documents are standard Markdown files stored on your own iCloud Drive. We never have access to your files or personal information.
What is Apple Intelligence integration?
Writify uses Apple's FoundationModels framework to provide context-aware writing assistance. This requires an Apple Intelligence-enabled device running iOS 26 or later.
Can I use Writify offline?
Yes. Your documents are stored locally as Markdown files. You can continue writing without an internet connection, and iCloud Drive will sync your changes automatically when you're back online.
How do I export my documents?
Your documents are already standard Markdown files on iCloud Drive — just open them in any app. You can also export to plain text or use the native iOS share sheet.
